About two years ago, my mother started to need more complex medical assistance and after an in-home caregiver and another extended stay in the hospital, we made the choice to transfer her to Warren Barr Lieberman for care. It was the best and right decision regarding her needs! The facility has dramatically improved her health. A huge shout-out to the 6th floor staff, nurses, and management. I thank Gia (social services), Vika (activity aide), Barbara (restorative aide), and Inna (CNA), all Russian-speaking, who put my worries at ease. Matthew, Christina, and Sister Ana (nurses) – you are the best! There are so many good, hard working people. I came to Warren Barr Lieberman for rehab after surgery to repair an ankle that didn’t heal correctly and required a steel rod. I was told I’d need about six weeks of rehab, and I knew immediately I wanted to come back here. I had been to Warren Barr before and had a great experience, and after a bad stay elsewhere, I wasn’t willing to go anywhere else.
When I arrived, I was non-weight-bearing and needed to rebuild strength so I could walk with a boot, handle stairs, and safely use a walker or cane. The therapy team pushed me in the best way—sometimes working with me multiple times a day—and I gained strength faster than I expected.
What stood out most was the personalized care. I never felt like a number, and the nurses truly went above and beyond. Having a private room also made recovery more comfortable. I would recommend Warren Barr Lieberman to anyone who needs rehab—it’s a place you can trust to take care of people.
